Thanks A LOT for extending Symbian's life as it deserves. By the way maybe I'm crazy because I purchased another 808 last month for the time when current's hardware will be worn out. I hope that it will be maintained enough to satisfy our needs waiting for a serious successor other than Apple or Android.

Anyway, I'm writting because I cannot find a solution to the problem of "too loud volume" either in speaker or in headphones.
I've searched in the Delight FAQ and on the Internet. Perhaps I missed the place where it is explained but I resign myself to post the question here.

I guess you're already aware of that but here's the problem description :
- Since Delight v1.3, by default the sound volume in headphones is too loud, and even when you set it to the minimum value it remains too agressive.
- I've read that activating the "MoreSoundInLoudSpeaker" patch can solve the problem for headphones.
- Ok, but then the speaker is too loud (well that's the use of the mod). Indeed 808's speaker is loud enough by default and when this mod is activated the ringtones that are set to a low volume and that should be discrete become annoying for people around, and the wake-up alarm makes you jump out from the bed to the ceiling.

The only possibility I have is to go and activate the "MoreSoundInLoudSpeaker" patch in Rompatcher everytime I'm going to ear some music... and deactivating it when disconnecting headphones.

I found a post that talks about a "ROFS3 with default volume" but I don't know where to find it and what's the user guide to apply this file easily.

Please let me know if there's a simple solution, or if the expected Delight V1.4 will solve it ?
In any case, thanks for all !
Erichuellifhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12133575552514930484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3353037992111273752.post-90941766853993387262014-07-31T23:17:02.266+02:002014-07-31T23:17:02.266+02:00Hi mate,
